A fan just realized she took a picture with an 11-year-old Blake Lively before she was famous

It’s not every day that you get your photo taken with a celebrity — and it’s certainly not a typical occurrence to stumble upon a photo that was taken with an A-lister before she was even famous. But that’s exactly what happened to Twitter user Bria Madrid, who realized that as a little girl, she had a photo taken with an 11-year-old Blake Lively.

Madrid posted about the crazy coincidence on Twitter on Aug. 4, writing, “Found a picture when I was 5 at my first concert. #SpiceGirls and took a picture with a girl dressed up as Baby Spice who I just realized now was @blakelively.”

Apparently they were both Spice Girls fans! How cute!

Not only was Lively a fan, she also liked to fancy herself a lookalike for Baby Spice. When she reposted the image on Instagram, the actress joked she was “sorry not sorry” for “tricking” the little girl into thinking she was the actual Baby Spice. Hey, with those platform shoes, it wasn’t too hard!

“Pretending to be someone else… since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton),” Lively wrote.

Lively pointed out that this photo was taken in 1997. Considering that she didn’t get her “big break” until her acting debut in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” in 2005, this pic was taken before Lively was the famous actress she is today.

But it gets better! Emma Bunton — yes, Baby Spice herself — couldn’t help but get in on the nostalgia and commented on Lively’s post writing:

“So cute, you’re rocking those pigtails @blakelively.”

Then Lively had a fan girl moment of her own, responding:

“@emmaleebunton I’m officially ☠☠☠☠. Forever bowing down to you. I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal.”

Lively found a great way to sum up this entire situation, because it is definitely not “normal.”

A set of coincidences led to a moment of fans supporting each other and women admiring other women — that’s so inspiring to see! And to think it all started with a love of the Spice Girls!
