Dads and daughters spending quality time together is always a pretty cute scene. Add some music-making to the mix, and you enter into cuteness overload territory.
If you haven’t yet stumbled upon the Claire and the Crosbys YouTube channel, you need to subscribe immediately. The channel’s loaded with videos of a dad and his three-year-old daughter covering Disney tunes. Give each one a play to feel your heart melt. Because seriously, it’s just too much cuteness to handle.
Their latest upload, which already has two million views, show Claire and her dad, Dave Crosby, singing a duet of “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” the Randy Newman song from “Toy Story.” The 4-year-old Claire is an incredible vocalist, and her dad’s not so bad on the strings. Together, they’re the perfect duo, and I’m going to go ahead and call it now—they’re the Father and Daughter Combo of 2017.
According to an interview with Parents, Dave Crosby knew his little girl was going to be a great singer when she was very young.
“Claire learned to talk at a super young age and we noticed really early on that she could carry a pitch. I remember some time after her first birthday, she was slamming her hands on our little keyboard in the living room. She started hitting the same note over and over, and then she began to sing the exact same note. I was sure at that moment that she was going to be able to sing,” he told the publication.
And right he was about that!
Pretty soon, it was off to putting the songs on YouTube, and according to the father, Claire has a whole list of songs she’s ready to record next.
Check out their YouTube channel to follow along with Claire’s latest songs and to catch up on the ones you’ve missed. It’ll be the best thing you do all week!
