Fisher-Price has an adorable new ‘work-from-home’ toy set

If you’re a parent, you know how quickly children pick up on adult behaviors. From repeating things we say to copying our actions, from vacuuming the floor to mowing the lawn, kids want to be a part of what their parents do.

That’s why Fisher-Price is expanding its role-play line to go beyond baby coffee cup teethers and clean-up sets to include more things many of us are doing from home now due to the coronavirus pandemic: working, cooking and exercising.

Perhaps the most timely and relevant set in the new collection is My Home Office. If you’re one of the many parents working from home and struggling to keep your kids occupied at the same time, giving them their own office may be the solution to keep boredom at bay!

The set is for ages 3 and older and is $24.99. The eight-piece playset includes a pretend laptop, four fabric “apps” to attach to the computer screen, a wood smartphone and headset for important business calls and a to-go cup for refueling (with milk or juice, of course).

If you’d rather have your little one start practicing their cooking skills instead of working in an office, the Cutest Chef Gift Set will make your baby the boss of the kitchen. The four-piece set includes a crinkle recipe card, play tongs with a meatball spinner, a chewy oven mitt teether and a wearable chef’s apron bib. For ages 3 months and older, this set is $14.99.

For small fitness fans who want to pump up at playtime, the Baby Biceps Gift Set for ages 3 months and up comes with four gym-themed toys. For $14.99, the set includes a soft, wearable (and retro!) headband, a kettlebell rattle to lift and chew, a dumbbell to curl up and a jingling protein shake.

There is also a fourth new item that might make you wistful for travel, or just ready for a staycation.

The Tiny Tourist Gift Set for ages 3 months and older is $14.99 and comes with four vacation-themed accessories that double as infant toys. It includes a pretend camera to rattle and click, a crinkly bottle of sunscreen, a chewy passport teether and a wearable bib to complete their tourist look.

Do you have any little ones who would love these adorable adult activities sets?
