‘Fixer Upper’s’ New Spinoff TV Series Stars Clint, And You’re Going To Love It

If you’re a fan of “Fixer Upper,” then you know exactly who Clint is. Clint Harp is Chip and Joanna Gaines’ good friend who also happens to be a master carpenter. Now, he and his wife, Kelly Harp, are getting to show you more of what goes on at their Harp Design Co. location in a brand-new TV series appropriately titled, “Wood Work.”

It’s really no surprise that the Harp family is giving the whole TV show thing a go because they really have become favorites on “Fixer Upper.”

You can always count on Harp to deliver pieces that are full of character. Whether he’s custom-building a table or a mantlepiece, he never fails to help the Gaines tie a home together. Oh, and if there’s spare wood (especially shiplap) lying around, he’ll take that off your hands, too.

The series’ pilot episode aired on the DIY Network on Mar. 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET. According to the Waco Tribune, the show’s positioned on this channel to try and capture the audience that’s interested in design as well as do-it-yourself aspects.

The first episode was called “So Many Tables, So Little Time,” and showcased the couple preparing tables for a wedding and the debut of Balcones Distilling’s tasting room. Were they able to handle both orders? You’ll have to catch up on the premiere episode to find out!

When the Harps aren’t busy building tables or with their design work, they’re managing their three kids. According to the Waco Tribune, the pair met at Baylor University and married shortly thereafter. They’ve been in Waco since 2011.

This isn’t their first go at TV show, apparently. They had a pilot episode for a TV show called “Against The Grain” that aired last June. The network ultimately decided not to move forward with the series, so here’s to hoping that “Wood Work” is just what the DIY channel needs!

I know for a fact that fans of “Fixer Upper” would love to see this show flourish. Because you can never have too many well-made tables in your life.
