These Tiny Foster Puppies Dressed in Halloween Costumes Will Make You Smile

If there’s one thing cuter than little kids in Halloween costumes, it’s dogs in Halloween costumes. So if you’re jonesing for a seasonal pick-me-up that is decidedly un-spooky, look no further than these adorable foster puppies in costume at Blue Heron Farm in Field Store, Texas.

The three-week-old puppies are from an animal rescue called 4 Paws Farms and will be ready for adoption around eight weeks of age. Their foster mom Lisa Seger of Blue Heron Farm has made some precious costumes for the pups, and the results are too cute. Check out some of the photos of the costumed pups, posted to the farm’s Twitter.

How sweet is this tiny puppy dressed as Hello Kitty?

This puppy dressed as Cookie Monster is certainly the most adorable little monster I’ve ever seen:

I want to squeeze this sleepy watermelon immediately:

The simple tag indicates that this puppy is supposed to be a Beanie Baby:

This fluffy puppy dressed as candy corn looks good enough to eat:

This puppy may find himself getting chased by squirrels in this acorn costume:

That is one cuddly-looking cactus:

This Frosty the Snowman puppy could reuse this costume during the holiday season as well:

While these puppies are certainly cute to look at, Seger said she hopes that they will also raise awareness about spaying and neutering pets.

“These puppies, while adorable, are part of a larger unwanted pet problem,” she told People over email. “We beg people to spay and neuter their animals,”

The puppies’ mama Harriet already has an adoptive home to go to, but the foster parents hope all of the sweet pups will be adopted into forever homes once they are old enough. If you’re interested in adopting one of the puppies or would like to donate to 4 Paws Farm, visit their website.
