Is your child a nature lover or perhaps an explorer at heart? Home Depot has just the thing to keep them happy (and learning!) this summer.
On Saturday, July 1 Home Depot is offering a free workshop for children to celebrate their twentieth anniversary of kids workshops. Children will be able to build a bug house so they can get a closer look at some bug friends in their own backyard.
This workshop occurs just a few days before the Fourth of July holiday, so it’s bound to be a busy weekend. But if you’re looking for something free and fun to do on Saturday morning, we’ve got you covered.
Here are the details:
- Workshop starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon on July 1
- You must register your child online with Home Depot for the workshop
Once the project is complete, your child can personalize it with paint. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a free certificate of achievement, a workshop apron and a commemorative pin—while supplies last.
Home Depot also offers free outings this summer for do-it-yourselfers of all ages.
Do-it-yourself workshops offer expert instruction to help customers complete projects with confidence, while do-it-herself workshops combine demonstrations and hands-on learning to help women tackle home improvement projects.
You’ll want to check your local Home Depot to make sure they’re offering this workshop for kids. You can do that by calling your store or searching for the store near you on this website.
Kids workshops aside, if you’re learning how to be your own handyman or woman, make sure you bookmark Home Depot’s events and workshop page.
Recent workshops have included installing a ceiling fan, installing a toilet, installing a tile backsplash and creating a crate end table. This is a super awesome resource!
