7-Eleven’s Free Slurpee Day Is Here: This Is How To Get One
Who doesn't love a free Slurpee?!
Ready to beat the summer heat? 7-Eleven has you covered with free icy treats!
Wednesday, July 11, 2018, is the unofficial summer holiday we’ve all been waiting for: 7-Eleven Day — also known as Free Slurpee Day! Stop by any participating 7-Eleven convenience store on July 11, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and you can walk out with a free small Slurpee, no other purchase necessary! What a deal, right?
The convenience store chain expects to give away 9 million small Slurpees on that glorious day.
“Free Slurpee day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7-Eleven customers and new customers alike,” said Raj Kapoor, 7-Eleven senior vice president for fresh food and proprietary beverages. “7-Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers.”
Customers can look forward to special offers throughout 7-Eleven’s birthday week and members of the 7Rewards program get an additional perk on July 11: their free Slurpee counts as a “punch” on the loyalty card app! So not only do you score a free ice-cold beverage, it also counts toward your next free drink!
If you shop at 7-Eleven often and are not already a member of the 7Rewards program, you’ll want to download the app right now. The program allows you to claim your seventh self-serve beverage for free when you purchase six self-serve drinks. Your qualifying drinks can be anything from 7-Eleven’s self-serve menu, including iced coffee, hot drinks, Gulp cold drinks, Big Gulps and Slurpees. The best part is that your free drink can be any size offered by 7-Eleven, including refills on their refillable 7-Eleven mugs and tumblers!
So what flavor will your free Slurpee be? A classic like wild cherry or Coca-Cola? Or maybe a daring mix of blue raspberry and piña colada? Or how about the newest flavor: Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Slurpee?
