If you happen to have $6 million saved up for a down payment, have I got a house for you!

A massive, French chateau-style house is now for sale on Long Island with a listed price of $60 million. In case you’re wondering how a house could fetch such a price, let me just emphasize the word massive — like, 22,000-square-feet, eight bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, and five half-bathrooms on eight acres of land.

In fact, this house is so big that it has its own name: Maison Des Jardins.

Perhaps the most interesting fact about this decadent house? Despite looking like something straight out of 1700s France, it was only built in 2017! Before you decide whether or not to call your mortgage lender, let’s take a closer look at this estate.

The house was built by Raphael Yakoby, best known for creating Hpnotiq liqueur. It was designed by architects Douglas R. Schneider and Michael J. Wallin, who recently told Private Air magazine it’s his “best work to-date.”

This massive manse is located in the village of Old Brookville and is concealed behind 22-foot high iron gates. Once you step inside, you’ll see the old-world opulence on full display, starting with the Italian-marble floors and a stairway inspired by one at the palace of Versailles.

Below is a look at the sprawling living room. Did I mention the furnishings are all included? According to Private Air, the rugs date back to the 1600s.

And below is another entertaining area, which looks like it came out of a movie about Marie Antoinette.

How about this dining room? There’s possibly enough space for you to host the extended family for Thanksgiving.

In the kitchen, the cabinets were all made by Christopher Peacock, according to Realtor.com. However, you may need a map to find where you stuck the Pop Tarts.

More marble lines the rest of the kitchen, which has a pretty sweet stove as well.

If annoying family members come to visit, you should have no problem avoiding them.

There are chandeliers throughout the home, adding up to $2.5 million worth of lighting fixtures alone, according to Realtor.com.

Here is one of the eight bedrooms. There’s nothing quite like waking up in another century.

And, finally, take a look at one of the 15 bathrooms in the house, complete with a free-standing tub.

But that’s not all! Maison des Jardins also has a fitness center, wine room, billiards room and movie theater, as well as a five-car garage.

The backyard also features gardens, a patio and a heated in-ground swimming pool. So you’d basically never have to leave the house again!

If you had $60 million to spare, would you want to live in a house like this or would you prefer something more modern (and smaller)?
