New ‘Friends’ apartments Lego set includes characters and props

Lego has just unveiled a new set of bricks made for fans of one of the most popular TV comedies of all time: “Friends“!

The Lego “Friends” Apartment brings to life the show’s most iconic moments with the friends’ two apartments plus Minifigures of Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross (and Janice!). The apartments connect via the shared hallway, or you can separate them to form individual apartments.

The set is exceptionally detailed, with Monica’s purple walls and accessories to recreate some of the most memorable “Friends” moments, like the turkey Monica wears on her head on Thanksgiving and Gladys, Phoebe’s creepy art piece.

Other hilarious scenes highlighted in the set include when Joey and Chandler adopt the chicken and duckling, and when Rachel and Chandler are eating cheesecake on the floor of the hallway and Joey arrives, ready to join them in devouring the floor cake.

Some of the character outfits include Rachel’s plaid skirt, Ross’s too-tight pants and Joey wearing all of Chandler’s clothes. Monica’s secret messy closet stuffed full of junk is also included, as is the Poking Device, Pat the Dog and Phoebe’s dollhouse that caught on fire.

The set measures more than 4 inches high and 25 inches wide. For a smaller display, the carpets lift out to create mini models.

The “Friends” set is intended for people ages 18 and up, and it includes 2,048 pieces. Retailing for $149.99, it will be available for VIP Early Access on May 19 and will officially launch June 1 on Lego’s website and in Lego stores nationwide.

If you want even more “Friends”-specific Lego products, you can also get a Lego Central Perk set. In addition to the characters, the $59.99 set includes enough bricks to build your own mini version of the coffee shop. There’s a big orange sofa, an armchair, a table, a cookie jar, coffee cups and a menu board.

The set also includes a mini Gunther figure with a broom to keep the coffee shop tidy, while the other characters have their own accessories, like Ross’s keyboard, a pizza box for Joey and a guitar for Phoebe, of course.
