You can get married at This Denny’s for $99 on Valentine’s Day
Is there anything more romantic than getting married on Valentine’s Day? The answer is yes — when it comes with a side of pancakes.
Wait. What?
OK, you won’t be carrying pancakes down the aisle (unless you want to), but if dreams of your big day include breakfast or diner food, you may want to check out the Denny’s on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. While you can always get married there for $199, you can save $100 if you get hitched there this Valentine’s Day.
The Denny’s wedding chapel at their flagship Las Vegas diner held its first wedding in 2013. A press release from Denny’s about the first couple to marry there, Nancy Levandowski and Steven Keller, quoted the bride as saying they were both “passionate Denny’s fans for more than 35 years.”
The diner that hosts weddings does look a bit fancier than the usual Denny’s, but it’s still definitely a Denny’s … apparently with a full bar!
The Day of Love $99 package includes use of the chapel, a silk bouquet and boutonniere, champagne toast and certificate of the ceremony.
The Valentine’s Day package is available for the entire day on Feb. 14, and a minister will be on call to perform the ceremony. They only require a two-hour notice when booking, so if this is a last minute decision, no worries. Hey, it is Vegas, after all!
If you aren’t in Vegas or won’t be traveling there for Valentine’s Day, but you still love the idea of some breakfast food at your wedding, Waffle House has a food truck, so you can cater your big day Waffle House style.
While the truck is stationed in the Atlanta area, it will travel outside of George for a fee. It is a bit more expensive than the Denny’s wedding — there’s a $90 rental fee and it’s $50 an hour for both travel time and the duration of the visit. But can you really put a price on a wedding catered by Waffle House?
Would you get married at the Denny’s chapel?
