Get Ready: TV’s ’13 Nights Of Halloween’ Movie Lineup Is Here

While all the Halloween candy and costume planning is fun, it’s the Halloween movies that I get the most excited about. From nail-biters to comedies, there’s a Halloween movie for everyone.

ABC Family, now known as Freeform, just announced the schedule for their “13 Nights of Halloween.” There are some great movies included this year!

I’m most excited about “Hocus Pocus“. We have some big fans of the movie around the Simplemost office. It’s up there with “Christmas Vacation” and “Elf” on the must-watch-annually holiday movies list.

In addition to “Hocus Pocus”, we will be watching “The Addams Family,” “Halloween Town,” “Goonies” and “Monsters University”.  Unfortunately, some classic Halloween movies didn’t make the cut. I was hoping the list would include “Ghostbusters”, “Beetlejuice”, and “Nightmare Before Christmas”.

And it was news to me that “Hunger Games” is a Halloween movie???  It’s a good movie, but not sure how it fits into the theme.
