Get Ready To Celebrate Christmas At The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

It’s the most festive time of the year at Hogwarts, and you can be apart of it! Get ready to deck the halls with an extra dose of “Harry Potter” this holiday season because starting in November 2017, you’ll get to experience Christmas at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando.

Pack the most lightweight sweaters grandma’s ever knitted because you’ll be heading down south to Florida this November. It may not be the weather Potter and the crew experienced at Christmastime, but everything else will be almost exactly the same. Coupled with the fact that Christmas is one of the best times to visit Disney World, you may want to start making travel plans to Orlando right now.

Imagine getting to celebrate the season at Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. It’d be pretty amazing, right? Well, that’s all about to become a reality. According to a blog post and video put out by Universal Studios, there will be tons of festive decor, a holiday-themed menu and more to give the full “Harry Potter” Christmas experience.

According to the Universal Studios blog, “The Christmas celebration will crescendo nightly as a festive spell will be cast onto Hogwarts castle, cascading it in décor, candlelight and festive moments inspired by the films. Using the latest in mapped projection technology, Hogwarts Castle will transform itself into a yuletide display, gifting fans with an amazing, new view.”

All of this sounds incredible, and it’s all so fans can experience the magic of Christmas at Hogwarts, since that’s always a special time of the year in the J.K. Rowling series.

This is a limited time event which will kick off on November 18 and continue through January 6. A regular general admission ticket will allow you to experience all that the Wizarding World Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade locations have to offer.

An extravaganza of this kind can only be experienced at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and it’s the first time anything like this has taken place since the Orlando location opened in 2010. You won’t want to miss out on seeing the holidays unfold like they did in “Harry Potter” in person, so make sure you stop by for a visit while the season lasts!
