These 4-ingredient Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies are perfect for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is almost here, which means it’s almost time for candy hearts and chocolate roses. But, if you want to celebrate the holiday with homemade cookies, look no further than these pretty pink strawberry cookies which are perfect for school V-day parties, for the office or just to share with your Valentine.

Jill at Kitchen Fun With My Three Sons shares her recipe for Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies here. With only four ingredients, this recipe cannot get any simpler! The key is the Strawberry Cake Mix which gives the cookies lots of flavor and, of course, that gorgeous light rose hue.

You can choose Betty Crocker Super Moist Strawberry Cake Mix ($1.17 for a 15.25-ounce box on Amazon), Pillsbury Cake Mix Moist Supreme Strawberry ($3.77 for a 15.25-ounce box on Amazon) or Duncan Hines Signature Strawberry Supreme Cake Mix ($1.44 for a 15.25-ounce package on Amazon).

The cake mix is then combined with vegetable oil, eggs and white chocolate chips, but as Jill at Kitchen Fun points out, you can also use milk or dark chocolate chips if you prefer.

Or why not add sprinkles? These Valentine’s Sprinkles come in heart shapes with an adorable mixture of red and pink jimmies.

You could also top each V-Day cookie with a Wilton Jumbo Heart. These pink and red heart-shaped sprinkles are extra-large and add a special touch to these sweet cookies.

You can also swap out the strawberry-flavored cake mix for a similar cake mix in a V-Day appropriate hue, like Betty Crocker Super Moist Cake Mix Cherry Chip.
