Google Maps Shows Places Of Interest On Your Route, Even Helps You Find Cheaper Gas

androidpolice.com

Google Maps for Android (version 9.16) has an update that will surely please many: the ability to search for places of interest along your route, while staying in the app itself.

In the past, if you wanted to find places like gas stations, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and more, you had to leave the app and search elsewhere.

Now, you can simply tap the magnifying glass and choose from their list of what you’re looking for and Google Maps will pull up what’s directly on (or near) your route.

What’s really neat is the gas stations will display their price of gas too! Will you download the new version when it comes out?

If you’re an Android user and don’t want to wait for the update, you can get the APK Mirror by clicking HERE.
