Calling all fans of the “Great British Baking Show”: If you’re looking for a fun and unique meet-and-greet opportunity, then get ready to plan a trip to the United Kingdom for a train ride you’ll never forget.

Former “Great British Baking Show” celebrity judge Mary Berry is teaming up with travel company Belmond for a special afternoon tea and train ride. For two days only, May 3 and May 4, 2019, Berry will host a proper English tea for a select group of travelers who want to get the inside dish on all things baking from a master.

The 84-year-old Berry has written more than 80 best-selling cookbooks in her long and illustrious culinary career. She was a co-host on the popular “Great British Baking Show” series from 2010 until 2016. Berry continues to make regular appearances on British television on various cooking and food-related shows.

Each train ticket, which costs about $391 per person, includes a four-hour round trip ride through the Greater London region on a fully-restored Belmond British Pullman train. These historic trains provide travelers with luxurious experience featuring “art deco features…including handcrafted marquetry, gleaming crystal, and silken lampshades,” according to Belmond.

And, if the high-class travel arrangements aren’t enough, then the two intimate gatherings Berry hosts should make any “Great British Baking Show” fan feel like a VIP. Fans will get their introduction to Berry in a special meet-and-greet event in the Belmond British Pullman check-in lounge. Then, after everyone boards the train, the famous British baker will sit down and enjoy a tea-time fit for royalty that will include some of Mary Berry’s favorite cakes and pastries, sandwiches, tea or coffee and a glass of sparkling wine, the company says.

At the end of the delicious voyage, Berry will present each guest with a special surprise gift. We think it’s the perfect way to end a once-in-a-lifetime day!
