Guy Fieri Is Opening A Chicken Tender Restaurant At Walt Disney World
Parents and kids are going to love this!
The happiest place on earth is about to get a little happier for kids and parents. We all know that kids can be pretty picky eaters. But they usually give parents a break as long as they’re eating some chicken tenders.
So why wouldn’t you open a chicken tender restaurant? It turns out Food Network star Guy Fieri is making that happen.
Fieri’s new restaurant, Chicken Guy is expected to open during the month of August. Chicken Guy will join the nearly 60 dining options at Disney Springs, a dining and entertainment complex at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando.
The flagship restaurant will be all things fried chicken!

Fieri teamed up with restaurateur Robert Earl on his newest project. Disney describes Chicken Guy as a quick-service casual restaurant featuring “one-of-a-kind all-natural fresh chicken tenders.” Yum!
It gets better! You’ll get to choose from at least 20 different homemade sauces, which all look delicious enough for dipping. The “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” star is clearly the boss of sauce!

The tenders come grilled or fried. And of course there are sides, including fries, mac ‘n’ cheese and loaded fries with SMC (or super-melty cheese).
And because parents may want something a bit more adult-ish, the Chicken Guy menu also includes some tasty-looking chicken sandwiches, salads and southwest sweet corn.
All of the items at Chicken Guy are less than $8, but multi-item meals will cost more.

An official opening date is coming soon! We’re looking forward to your review of Chicken Guy!
Want to make the most of your experience at Disney when it comes to food and drinks? Here are a few of our best tips:
Choose The Right Line
When you’re eating at any place with counter service, keep in mind that stations are designed to take orders from both the left and right, as opposed to one side only like many other fast food establishments. If you see one line that is shorter than the other, hop on it.
Snag a Reservation
Don’t wait until all the restaurants are booked up. You can make reservations as far as 180 days before your trip. Staying at a Disney property? You can book dining for your entire trip (up to 10 days) with one call to the Disney hotline (407-939-3462).
Sneak In Early
Want to get ahead of the crowds? Make an 8 a.m. reservation at the restaurants that open before the park does. Hollywood and Vine at Disney Studios, Tusker House at Animal Kingdom and both Akershus Royal Banquet and Garden Grill at Epcot are all options.
Save 5 Percent Off Disney Gift Cards With A Target REDcard
After purchasing Disney gift cards with your Target REDcard, which gives you 5 percent off all gift card purchases, you can use these gift cards throughout the park on everything from food to merchandise. Five percent off can really add up when you’re at Disney for a few days.
Don’t Buy The Water
Unsurprisingly, bottled water in the park is expensive. Any restaurant or food stand will give you a cup of water if you ask.
Check Out The Secret Menu
Yes, even Disney has a secret menu. The food choices are already endless at Disney, but being in on something under-the-radar is always extra fun. Try the delectable ice cream nachos at the Golden Horseshoe or the Citrus Swirl at the Sunshine Terrace. Adults can try Mickey’s Fun Wheel at the Cove Bar, a fruity concoction of rum, vodka and blue curacao topped with soda water and lemon-lime whipped cream.
