Guy Fieri is opening another chicken tender restaurant and it could become a nationwide chain
Soon, we will all live in Flavortown. At least, we will if Guy Fieri’s plans work out. His latest venture, Chicken Guy!, is expanding to a second location less than a year after he opened the first one.
The first Chicken Guy! was created as part of the Disney Springs shopping and entertainment center near Disney World. Announced Feb. 20, the second Chicken Guy! shop is set to open in the upscale Aventura Mall just outside of Miami. That means the chain is contained to Florida — but only for now.
“With our second location, we are on our way to open Chicken Guy! locations across the country,” said restauranteur Robert Earl, Fieri’s business partner and fellow Chicken Guy! in a press release.
So what do we have to look forward to? Chicken Guy! is a family-friendly, fast-casual eatery that serves chicken tenders in a variety of forms. Chicken-tender sandwiches, salads and kids’ meals make up most of the menu. But the main idea is to celebrate the tender as a solo nibble and a companion for — you guessed it — sauce.

Flamboyant Food Network host and chef Fieri approved the range of Chicken Guy! sauces, which includes 22 in all. The dips represent cuisines from all over the world, with a particular emphasis on hot and spicy flavors, such as Nashville Hot Honey and Sweet Sriracha BBQ.

Oh, and if you’re wondering: Is there Donkey Sauce? You better believe it! That’s just one of many flavors, as explained in this video posted on the Chicken Guy! YouTube channel last year:
Fieri, for his part, is no newbie to the restaurant biz. The two Chicken Guy! locations join his quickly growing portfolio of Fieri-branded barbecue joints and burger barns in the United States and elsewhere.
There are also Guy Fieri concepts in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, The Poconos and Playa del Carmen. His Pig and Anchor barbecue kitchen slings smoked meats on four different Carnival cruise ships. There’s even a Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar in South Africa.
Who knows? Chicken Guy! could be coming to your city next. It looks like Flavortown is only a dip away.
