Here Are The 4 New Christmas Movies Hallmark Has Added To Its Show Schedule

There's going to be even more Christmas movie-watching this year!

You know you love a good Hallmark Christmas movie marathon as much as I do. There’s nothing quite like cuddling up on the couch with cocoa and a Hallmark movie.

My TV is always on this channel during the holiday season. It’s the background noise as we decorate the tree and bake cookies. These are the movies that bring everyone together for a nighttime viewing session. (We usually fall asleep before we ever get to see Santa, however!)

If this sounds like the kind of thing you’re planning for the holidays, too, then you’ll be excited to know that Hallmark has added four all-new Christmas movies to the lineup.

So, you know what that means? You’re bound to have a few more favorites to add to the list this year. Although, it never gets old re-watching the same movies from the year before.

Lucky for you, the entire range of movies begin airing on Oct. 29, as we previously reported. You can check out the entire schedule for holiday movies here, but in case you’re interested in knowing when the new ones begin, you can see when they’re slated to premiere below and learn a little more about each one:

“Journey Back to Christmas”

Show date: Friday, Nov. 25, 8 p.m.

Starring: Candace Cameron Burre, Oliver Hudson

A nurse from the World War II Era travels in time to 2016. She meets Jake, who teaches her that the true meaning of Christmas remains the same, all these years later. The spirit of the season is timeless.

“Broadcasting Christmas”

Show date: Sunday, Nov. 27, 8 p.m.

Starring: Melissa Joan Hart, Dean Cain, Jackée Harry

Two news anchors are vying for the position to cohost a TV show. To prove themselves, they’re asked to cover “the most meaningful Christmas stories,” and in doing so, they realize that there’s so much more to life than “the dream job,” according to Hallmark.

“Christmas Angel in Training”

Show date: Monday, Nov. 28, 8 p.m.

Starring: Kristin Davis, Eric McCormac, Shirley MacLaine

Kristin Davies plays a work-holic who has passed away and is now in training to be a Christmas angel in this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. To become the angel, though, she has to help a struggling musician use music to help his family come together, and she learns about love and the spirit of the season along the way.

“A Dream of Christmas”

Show date: Saturday, Dec. 3, 8 p.m.

Starring: Nikki DeLoach, Andrew Walker

Penny, a young married woman, is granted a wish to become single again. Everything seems great in her new life. Great job, nice car, but she has never met her husband. So, she decides to track him down and fall in love with him all over again.
