It’s hard to believe this fitness blogger is 6 months pregnant

Fitness blogger and model Sarah Stage is six months pregnant, but you’d never know it by looking at her.

Although she is moving into her third trimester of pregnancy, Stage is sporting toned abs that most non-pregnant women could only dream of.

Check out this shot from her Instagram, where the Los Angeles-based Stage flaunts her perfectly-flat tummy in a bikini on the beach.

She shared the photo July 11 with the following caption:

“I’m at a place in my life where happiness, peace and joy are my priority 👶🏻 Especially being #6monthspregnant , there’s no room for any negativity so please take it elsewhere ✌🏼Baby #2 is healthy and measuring just fine 🙌🏼 I would think that after having James, who was born almost 9lbs and healthy, people would be more understanding during this pregnancy and keep their ignorant comments to themselves …🙄 we are all different that’s what makes us special and unique! Anyway, thank you to the amazing women who have started my Fitness Ebook and everyone who has supported my journey! 😘Been working hard on updates like meal plans, recipes and grocery list!… Love you guys !”

And she shared the shot below more recently, on July 24, with the caption: “Hello there baby 👶🏻 Approaching #7months this week and feeling good 🙌🏼! Now off to my glucose test”

Stage announced on July 13 that she’s expecting another boy, writing “we are so excited !!!! Can’t stop smiling!!!”

All this attention about her belly is nothing new to Stage, who shocked and puzzled people with her muscular stomach and barely-there baby bump during her first pregnancy back in 2015.

She shared the photo below on Instagram showing her at 9 months pregnant with her first son, James, now 2.

“#tbt to 9 months Prego. 👶🏽 Still not sure how James fit in there but women’s bodies are truly incredible! #38weeks,” she wrote.

Although critics questioned whether it was healthy to remain so toned and slim during pregnancy, James was born completely healthy, weighing in at 8.7 pounds and 22 inches.

Here she is at 35 weeks pregnant with James alongside a friend who was at 39 weeks, which just illustrates how different every woman’s body looks when pregnant;

So how does Stage pull off such an enviable beach body while growing a human? Sticking with her workout routine, for one thing.

“I consulted with my trainer and my doctor just to make sure that it would be okay to continue [working out], and they just said to lower the weight,” she told People. “If you listen to your body, it’s going to tell you if it’s too heavy. I’m doing a little bit less, I’m not going as aggressive as I normally do. I have to hold back, but that’s okay.”

While you may think Stage’s case is fairly unique, she’s not alone. Fitness star Chontel Duncan shared this side-by-side photo of her and her client to prove just how different baby bumps can look on two different women.

“Happy, Healthy, baking, first time expecting mummy’s, 12 weeks to go, 12 days to go, fit pregnancies!” Duncan wrote.

Experts confirm that differing sizes and shapes of baby bumps are all completely normal, with many factors impacting how a woman will look while pregnant.

A woman’s height, fitness level and size of the baby all affect how her bump (or lack thereof) will appear. The size of a woman’s bump also tends to increase based on the number of children she’s had, with most women sporting a smaller bump for their first baby than they will during subsequent pregnancies.

“Some women don’t show,” Alyssa Dweck, M.D., co-author of “V Is for Vagina,” told Shape. “The rectus muscles might be so well defined that they’re masking her growing uterus.”

Bottom line—no matter the size or shape, a baby bump is something to be proud of and embraced!
