These ‘Harry Potter’ stars had a mini-reunion in NYC

There was a bit of a Hogwarts reunion on Broadway last night between the most unlikely of wizards: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.

“Harry Potter” star Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy in the film series) attended a preview of his “Potter” co-star Daniel Radcliffe’s new Broadway play, “The Lifespan of a Fact.”

Felton is in New York City promoting YouTube’s “Origin” at Comic-Con, in which another “Harry Potter” alum, Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) also stars. It’s so cool that the actors from the franchise get a chance to hang out together outside of the Wizarding World.

Felton took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with Radcliffe in his dressing room, calling his friend’s performance “fantastic” and urging his followers to go see the production:

The photo has garnered more than 1 million likes and fans commented that they loved seeing the friends and co-stars together.

Radcliffe’s appearance in the play is part of a concerted effort on his part to demonstrate his range as an actor.

“Directly after ‘Potter,’ it was a real concern of mine [to show my versatility as an actor], but now, I think it’s just a part of how I pick roles,” Radcliffe told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year. “I don’t want to repeat myself, because that’s not fun for me, but not because it’s a part of any huge grand plan to continue to distance myself from ‘Potter.'”

“Origin,” in which Felton stars, is TV drama from the producers of “Lost” and “The Crown” that will be available YouTube Premium customers starting in November. Watch the trailer below:
