‘Harry Potter’ Stars Reunited To Try Out Hagrid’s Motorbike Ride At Universal Orlando

Magic continues to happen for anyone in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe. Recently, some of the stars of the “Harry Potter” films got to be among the first to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Universal Orlando’s brand new roller-coaster ride at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.

Now this is a reunion we wish we could have seen in person!

The fan favorites who assembled experience the ride’s media preview last Tuesday included Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), and Warwick Davis (Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook).

Naturally, some of the stars took to Instagram to post their own memories of the day. Davis put up this selfie with the Phelps brothers, Felton, Grint, Lynch, and himself (clockwise from top left), saying how fun it was to reunite with his “students”:

Felton posted this image to his Instagram, featuring the “lads” from Gryffindor and Slytherin:

Then there’s this Instagram post from Grint, the one member of the “Golden Trio” who was able to attend. This pic appears to be a wider view of Davis’ selfie:

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a $300 million roller coaster that lets riders go through the Forbidden Forest in cars that resemble Hagrid’s magical motorcycle. With speeds up to 50 mph, and drops, backward movement, turns, spins, and twists, the mile-long ride offers plenty of magical and non-magical thrills.

So, what did the stars think of the new Universal offering?

After riding the new attraction, Felton told USA Today, “It was amazing.”

Oliver Phelps posted this tweet. Guess he liked it!

Some fans even got to gush about the experience of riding Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure with the stars, as these two did on Pottermore’s Twitter account.

The expression on their faces says it all:

Will you be checking Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure next time you’re at Universal Orlando?
