This ‘Harry Potter’-Themed Photo Shoot Is The Best Thing Since ‘Harry Potter’

If you thought the Harry Potter series was just for kids, you were wrong. Adults can definitely have their fun with it, too. And this adorable photo shoot proves it.

Proud “Harry Potter”-loving parents staged a photo shoot in which their newborn child was a Mandrake plant and their oldest son, a wizard. A “Mandrake” couldn’t be a more fitting role for a newborn. You see, their cry is fatal to anyone who hears it. So, you don’t even have to worry if the baby is crying for the photo—in fact, he’s just getting into character!

The older son (uhmm, I mean wizard) is equipped with ear muffs, so of course, he’s safe from his brother, a.k.a. the Mandrake. He’s also wearing a little tie and glasses. Overall, he couldn’t be more fit for the role of a boy wizard.

As for the Mandrake costume, a flower pot and some faux greenery will bring this plant to life. This baby is wearing a green beanie that has leaves attached to it. Not only is it super cute, it’s very easy to DIY and recreate for yourself! In this case, you have Kelsey Clouse of Lune de la Rouge photography to thank these amazing photos.

So, if you were in need of some major inspo for your next family photo shoot, well, I think you’ve got it! You may be a bunch of muggles, but you’ll be muggles with the best family photos around. And that’s a win, if you ask me.
