Heidi Klum’s Daughter Is The Spitting Image Of Her Mom
Heidi Klum’s daughter certainly comes from a family of good genes. That’s just what happens when your mom is one of the biggest supermodels of all time. Klum and her daughter Leni Briatore share a striking resemblance, making the 13-year-old her mom’s mini-me in more ways than one.
Leni is the biological child of Klum and Flavio Briatore, an Italian businessman. However, she was adopted by Klum’s former husband, the singer Seal, and was raised as his daughter.
“It doesn’t make [Leni] any more or less my daughter,” Seal told People in 2009 after he adopted Leni when she was five years old. “She always has been [my child]. All it means is that both Heidi and I wanted her to have the same last name as the rest of us… It was about Leni. I don’t want her to feel different because I know what that’s like, being a kind of stepson. And I don’t want that dynamic for my little girl.”

Seal and Klum split in 2012 and reportedly finalized their divorce in 2014, according to US Weekly. Along with Leni, the couple have three other children together — two sons, Henry and Johan, and a daughter, Lou.
Leni, born Helene, is the oldest at the age of 13 and Lou, the youngest, is now eight.

Despite living a very public life as a supermodel and TV host, Klum manages to keep her personal life under wraps. She’ll post the occasional Instagram photo or video with her children, but other than that you have to rely on the rare celeb sighting to get a view of Klum and her adorable clan of mini-mes.

With all of the things she’s done in her career, Klum still says being a mom is the most difficult.
“Being a mom is the hardest. With things in business, if something goes wrong, it goes wrong. You don’t want to mess up with your children. That is something that you can never take back,” she told Parenting magazine.

As a mom, she describes her parenting style as “loving,” but that’s not to say she can’t also be strict.
“My kids are not allowed to walk in the street without holding hands. I’m very strict with safety,” she told the publication. And that’s certainly not a bad way to be as a mom. She’s got some precious cargo to look out for, after all.
Heidi Klum isn’t alone in having a child that’s practically her twin, either. There are plenty of celebrities who have children who look exactly like them!
