Here’s The Best Way To Photograph Fireworks [Infographic]
Fireworks are pretty magical, aren’t they? There’s a reason we gather to watch them year after year.
And how many times have you reached for your phone, trying desperately to capture the beauty that you see before you, only to look at your pictures later and be, well, underwhelmed?
For those who want to get serious about capturing the fireworks this July 4th, this handy infographic lays it all out for you.
One caveat is that, according to this advice, you should use an actual single-lens reflex (SLR) camera for optimum results. Two points: You can find a DSLR (“d” stands for digital) for less than $200 on Amazon. And you could try a similar approach using your camera phone secured on a tripod (which you can find on Amazon for about $5), turning off your flash, making sure not to zoom and switching your phone’s camera to a setting like Burst or Firework Mode.
