Here’s how to order a pumpkin spice ‘Cinderella latte’ from Starbucks’ secret menu

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is an autumn classic, but did you know that there’s a secret twist on this Starbucks mainstay? It’s known as the “Cinderella Latte” and it may just become your new go-to coffee drink.

In 2018, the underground beverage started to make the rounds on social media. Its creation is usually credited to Instagrammer @HappiestTeesOnEarth, who whipped up the recipe, along with other Disney-inspired drinks, when she worked as a barista at the coffee chain for seven years.

OK, so what exactly is the Cinderella Latte? To order one, ask for a Pumpkin Spice Latte with White Chocolate Mocha Sauce substituted for half the pumps of Pumpkin Sauce. A grande PSL has four pumps of Pumpkin Sauce, so you’ll end up with two pumps of Pumpkin and two pumps of White Chocolate Mocha.

The name Cinderella Latte refers to the coach that’s the vehicle of choice for the Disney princess in the movies.

Last year, the former barista gave the lowdown on the secret menu item in an Instagram post:

“The now famous Cinderella Latte has been spreading magic at coffee shops everywhere this fall,” she wrote. “Raise your hand if you have already tried my Disney-inspired version of the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte?! I still cannot believe the number of DMs, posts and stories that are still coming in. This pic taken by @inkprincess143 of her Cinderella Latte is one of my faves!”

The magical drink can be ordered hot, iced or as a Frappuccino.

If the recipe sounds delicious, you’re not the only one who thinks so. It has become widely popular both in various coffee stores across the country and on the internet, as the creator described in this recent Instagram post:

And when she made a return to the Starbucks she used to work at, she surprised the employees by revealing that was the store where the Cinderella Latte was first created:

The shirt is blue (just like Cinderella’s famous dress) and features white lettering sprinkled with glitter. The pumpkin spice topping includes hidden Mickeys. You can also see the Fairy Godmother’s wand peeking out from the whipped cream.
