Here’s How To Make The Perfect Fall Hard Apple Cider Slushie

Rachel Vanni/Tasting Table

Summer has its fair share of yummy drinks, but don’t get too sad if you’re missing your Watermelon Champagne: Fall means a whole new slew of delicious seasonal beverages.

One of our favorites? The Hard Apple Cider Slushie. Apple juice is great for the kids, but if you’re looking for a more grown-up drink that uses the seasonal fruit, you’re in luck.

This easy recipe posted by Tasting Table comes from New Orleans’ restaurant Willa Jean, and it uses apple cider, bourbon, ginger beer, chai tea and lemon juice to make the ultimate boozy autumn drink. Sweet, tangy and just right for all.

After all, kids shouldn’t be the only ones enjoying fall treats! Adults need seasonal goodies to look forward to, too. We suggest enjoying this cocktail with some roasted pumpkin seeds, a cozy fall stew and perhaps some magic cake for dessert.

Bottoms up, and happy fall!
