Hotel rooms are expensive—even ones that aren’t especially nice. Winston Club, a travel website, knows this… and they’re offering you half off your four- or five-star hotel room if you agree to share it with a complete stranger. Sound terrible? Well, you might be surprised.

Founded in November, Winston Club is similar to many other booking websites in that it both promises to help users save money and also collects a percentage of the hotel room charge. But how it saves you money is a little different. Winston Club matches you up with another user of the members-only service who is also planning to stay overnight in the same region.

Founder Byron Shannon wrote in a company blog post that Winston Club expends “a lot of energy” screening their members. Potential users can accept or reject matches based on biographical information from their profile.

According to Fortune, the service launched in March of this year in five cities: LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Las Vegas. Winston Club will only be working with four-and five-star hotels and plans to focus on building a strong presence on the west coast before potentially expanding to new cities later in 2016.

So… would you do it?
