It’s been a Halloween dream of mine for at least the last 20 years to dress as Sarah Sanderson from ‘Hocus Pocus‘. That outfit though—I am just not crafty enough to make it. I could never find any Hocus Pocus costumes. All three sisters have pretty detailed clothing and I have literally no idea how to sew. I think I managed to put a button back on a coat once, maybe?
However, I no longer need to take a sewing class just for that costume. Hooray! And, a lot of other people must also want to be a Sanderson sister because you can now buy the costumes! This is not just a bunch of hocus pocus, people. it is 100 percent for real. I even checked it out for myself and fan-girled out right in the middle of the store (back to that in a minute).

Spirit Halloween and Disney launched 55 licensed Hocus Pocus-themed items. You won’t find a black flame candle or a virgin to light it. However, along with the costumes you can almost everything your spooky little soul desires.
Of course there are wigs and face decals to complete the costume. But you’ll also find items to decorate your house. Like this fleece blanket or Binx spell pillow.
And what about a drinking game with these amazing shot glasses? (Every time Winnie talks to her book or Mary smells children, perhaps?)
Because the Halloween stores usually have different products online and in-store, I went to my local Spirit Halloween to check it out for myself. OK, I also wanted to see the Hocus Pocus costumes up close—and they did not disappoint!. There is for sure a difference, with only the costumes, blanket and a few other products in the store. But, it is only September, after all, and signs hung up all over the store stating more merchandise will arrive soon.
If you were a ’90s kid (or adult!), it’ll be pretty tough to find a more epic costume than this. And surely, you’ll win all the costume parties.
Halloween will be here before you know it, so grab your broom (or vacuum if Mary is your spirit witch), fly to your nearest store and check them out yourself!
