On April 16, Kotb called into the show once again to opened up more about her second child and how eldest daughter Haley Joy has already taken to her new role.

“This morning at breakfast [Haley] was trying to feed [the new baby] her raspberries and I was like, ‘Not yet, babe,”’ Kotb said. “She was literally marching around saying, ‘I’m a big sister.”’

The anchor has received a flood of well wishes from viewers and her famous friends.

Carson Daly retweeted the story from the “Today” show and also added, “Best #popstart ever! Congrats @hodakotb & Joel!”

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen responded to the news by saying, “Hoda!! Mazel!”
