Hogwarts Just Held An Amazing Memorial For The Orlando Victims

The amazing outpouring of unity and support continues for the victims of the Orlando shooting.  One of the people we lost was Luis Vielma, who worked at an attraction inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando. To pay their respects, wizards and muggles took to Hogwarts Castle within the theme park and raised their wands into the air to honor their friend.

“Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love…” #WandsUp #OrlandoStrong

This outpouring mirrors how the students honored Dumbledore when he died.

In addition, workers placed candles throughout the line for the ride.

For Luis, we love you! You were he beat Gryffindor! #forbiddenstrong #prayfororlando

It’s obvious that Luis was dearly loved by his friends, family and coworkers.
