How To Make 2-Ingredient Fake Snow When You’re Missing The Real Thing

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Living in a warm climate is awesome, but it’s hard not to get a bit jealous when the rest of the country gets blanketed in snow during the holiday season. Sure, there are downsides to having to deal with snow in the winter, but most people can agree that a little bit of flurrying makes for a warm and cozy evening.

How To Make Your Own Snow

Luckily, there’s a way you can make your own DIY snow at home thanks to DaveHax, and you only need a couple of ingredients that you probably already have in your home. It may not be the real thing, but this snow is frost-free and won’t leave your fingers feeling numb. Plus, it’s a great activity to do with kids who are longing to make a snowman but are stuck with warmer weather instead.

Here’s what you’ll need:

– A bowl

To make the snow, all you have to do is mix the baking soda with the conditioner.

Instead of using a spoon to create the mixture, knead it by hand so you can feel the texture. If it’s too sticky, add more baking soda; if it’s too dry, add some hair conditioner instead.

Feel free to experiment with other household items such as shaving cream, cornstarch and even coarse sea salt.
