In honor of this dedicated funny man and talented actor, here are some of Hank the Security Guard’s best lines from “The Office” (if you don’t see your favorite listed below, be sure to share it in the comments!).
Listen, don’t ask Hank for his sage advice if you aren’t willing to wait for it. When he’s called in to break an office tie about what to do with surplus money, he enjoys some candy, weighs his options and even gives a shout-out to lumbar support.
“Let me see the copier again,” he says, before Michael gets exasperated and throws him out.
Hank the security guard doesn’t take loitering kids in his parking lot lightly!
“Hey! Are those skateboarders back? Where are they? The little punks!?” he demands of Jim as he races out to the parking lot, moving faster than we have ever seen him move in all the seasons combined.
Nothing beats Hank tunelessly singing “Me and the blues” along with his half-hearted strumming on the guitar. For just $5, a CD of “The Best of Hank” is a steal!
There’s also the moment when the entire office gets locked inside the parking lot gates and ask Hank to come let them out. But when the cleaning crew shows up first, Hank is left standing in the parking lot in the middle of the night saying, “Son of a (expletive).”
