If you loved watching Hugh Jackman in musical films like “The Greatest Showman” or “Les Misérables,” then we have some excellent news for you. The Aussie song-and-dance man is about to bring his one-man-show to America.

Although Jackman has toured with his one-man-show in Australia, this will be the first time that fans can see him stateside. He will also be performing the show in Europe and Australia as part of an upcoming tour.

The Tony-Award winning star of the new film “The Front Runner” — which, unfortunately, is not a musical — is doing a big arena tour that will reportedly include singing, dancing and stories from the A-list actor himself. Jackman will be accompanied by a 26-piece orchestra, as well as 30 other singers and dancers.

The spectacle will include songs from “Les Misérables,” “The Greatest Showman” and his various Broadway performances, including songs from the smash stage hit “The Boy from Oz,” for which Jackman won his Tony.

“I love going to a concert when I feel something happens that night that could only happen that night,” Jackman told NBC’s “Today,” explaining that he is going to keep the shows loose so that every performance will be a little different. “I’m just going to have a party.”

While appearing on “Today,” Jackman also said he aims to make his shows feel intimate and powerful by making sure that he connects with the audience, regardless of whether it’s 300 people or 3,000 people in the crowd. He also shares that he starts out every show by looking for his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, in the audience and meeting her eyes. He said her presence “grounds” him.

How sweet is that?

“She’s the greatest,” he went on to say on the talk show. “If you marry the sexiest, funniest, most beautiful woman in the whole world, that’s a great start.”

Okay, now we’re seriously swooning. If you’re interested in attending one of Jackman’s one-man shows, be sure to keep your eyes open for tickets in a location near you in summer 2019.
