Husband Supports Wife In The Sweetest Way After She Lost A Finger

Facebook | Libby Sanders

Libby Sanders is one lucky lady. When she lost a pinky finger last year in an unfortunate accident, her husband, Matt, has supported her in every way he can to help her feel less conscious.

Recently, when painting her nails, she get a little sad when she couldn’t paint her pinky finger. Matt, being the wonderful husband that he is, stepped in and said, “I will be your surrogate pinky. You can paint my pinky to match your nails for the rest of our lives.”

Cue the tears. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

According to Bravo, Libby lost her pinky in a freak screen door accident. She told them,

“I was shutting the door really hard because it wasn’t shutting all the way. I broke the door and the handle snapped off. A piece of it snagged my pinky and it bruised really badly,” she says. “I had to see a hand surgeon and eventually part of my hand actually died. I had to have it amputated in March.”

She certainly is a lucky gal to have Matt by her side.“He is such a kind, caring man and he is always doing things like this for me. This is only one of 10 million things he has done to show me how much he loves me,” Libby told the Huffington Post.

Since posting the photo last week, the photo has gone viral with over 120,000 shares. What color do you think they’ll choose next week?
