IHOP is now making cinnamon pancakes topped with mini churros

Just when you thought pancakes couldn’t get any more delicious, the International House of Pancakes went and created churro-inspired hotcakes.

Churros, made with fried pastry dough and topped with cinnamon and sugar, are popular in Spain, Mexico and across the United States. But now you can enjoy this special dessert for breakfast … or any time of day when you are craving IHOP pancakes!

So how are these churro pancakes made? Four of IHOP’s signature buttermilk pancakes are layered with a warm cinnamon spread and a sweet cream cheese icing. The pancakes are topped with whipped cream and plenty of crunchy mini-churros. Drooling yet?

Well, if so, you better get to your local IHOP as quickly as possible, because this is a limited time menu item. The price for these Mexican Churros Pancakes will vary based on your location — but in Wisconsin, they cost $9.29.

You can also find other treats from south of the border on the IHOP menu, including Mexican Tres Leches Pancakes. Tres leches cake is a sponge cake or butter cake made with three kinds of milk (condensed milk, evaporated milk and heavy cream), and it is very popular in Mexico and Central and South America.

At IHOP, these limited-time Mexican Tres Leches Pancakes are to die for, and the flavors bring to mind all of your favorite aspects of traditional tres leches cake. Four buttermilk pancakes are covered with vanilla sauce and dulce de leche caramel sauce, then topped with whipped cream. Delicioso!

You can also find a new Italian-inspired stack of pancakes. Italian Cannoli Pancakes feature three buttermilk pancakes filled with sweet ricotta and chocolate bits. These are rolled, then topped with more crunchy chocolate cannoli pieces and whipped cream. Delizioso! (See what we did there?)
