IHOP Just Launched A Grinch-Themed Menu
On Friday, Nov. 9, Universal Pictures will release its animated reimagining of Dr. Seuss’ “The Grinch.” And to celebrate the upcoming movie, IHOP is offering a limited-time holiday menu inspired by the classic children’s book.
IHOP has partnered with Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment to develop a whimsical menu based on Dr. Seuss’s tale of a grumpy creature on a mission to steal Christmas from the residents of Whoville. The Grinch-themed menu will be available at IHOP locations now through Dec. 31.
“The holidays are such a special time for families and creating a delicious menu that reflects the fun and whimsy of Whoville in Dr. Seuss’ beloved story about the Grinch is the perfect way for us at IHOP to celebrate the season,” Alisa Gmelich, vice president of marketing at IHOP, said in a statement.
Not sure what to try first? Start with the Who-Roast Beast Omelette, pictured below. The egg omelet is stuffed with shredded beef, cheese, hash browns, and a jalapeño and onion blend. It’s then topped with cheese, a tangy BBQ sauce and a serrano pepper, and served with a side of three buttermilk pancakes, which can be substituted if desired.
If you’re looking for something lighter, try the Grinch’s Green Pancakes. You’ll chow down on a stack of four green pancakes topped with sweet cream cheese icing, red candy hearts and a dollop of green whipped cream. Nobody can be a Grinch after that meal!
You can also snag a Young Grinch Minty Hot Chocolate for your little one, which is topped with green whipped cream and red heart sprinkles.
And if you are heading to IHOP with kids, then you’re in luck: Kids 12 years old and younger eat free every day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. during the promotion.
