Growing up as a celebrity’s child has its share of challenges. Between the super-busy parents who can’t always be around to having to go through an awkward phase in the public eye, it’s no surprise that some famous people’s kids want nothing to do with show business.

On the flip side, however, there are also those kids who effortlessly follow in Mom and Dad’s footsteps. Jack Quaid is the son of two Hollywood megastars, Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, and he definitely falls in the latter camp.

Quaid, now 25, appears to have inherited his both his parents’ acting ability as well as their stunning good looks.

The young actor has already scored roles in a number of films, including “Logan Lucky,” “The Hunger Games” and “Tragedy Girls.”

Even though he grew up as heir apparent to Hollywood royalty, Quaid does not take his rising stardom for granted. In October, People magazine held their annual Ones to Watch party, which honors the entertainment industry’s best-up-and-coming talents.

Quaid was one such honoree, and when asked about the moment he knew he had “made it,” Quaid made it clear that he remains humble. “This is pretty cool,” he told the magazine. “But it is just really fun doing this. So let’s just keep it up. ‘Making it’ or not, this is great.”

He has also acknowledged the unique influence his accomplished parents have had on his own career. “I’m a huge fan of both of their work. Really, I’m a big fan. The thing that’s nice about it, something that I’m really grateful to have, is they share this enthusiasm for telling stories and acting,” he explained on an episode of the podcast “Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss.”
