With the latest sequel to “Halloween” enjoying positive reviews from film critics, scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis has much to celebrate.
That’s why she was inspired to post a picture of her clan on the red carpet for the “Halloween” world premiere. Curtis, who is normally a private person, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her nearest and dearest by posting a sweet family shot on her Instagram page.
In the photo, the Hollywood icon posed with her husband Christopher Guest, and their children Annie and Tom. Guest is a British actor best known for his work on cult classics like “This Is Spinal Tap” and “Best in Show,” and the couple have been married since 1984.
Curtis wrote as a caption, “The most important part of my work is the people I get to come home from that work to.”

Curtis and Guest have had a long marriage, especially by Hollywood standards. So, what relationship advice does she offer other couples?
“Don’t get divorced,” the 59-year-old Golden Globe winner quipped. “It’s a fascinating thing. I could write a book on marriage called ‘Don’t Leave.'”
Guest and Curtis adopted their daughter in 1986, and then adopted their son 10 years later. She has been open about the at-times difficult process.
“Adoption is a very complicated road filled with incredibly emotional and challenging aspects,” Curtis told Parents in 2016. “It’s a complicated terrain but still a beautiful way to make a family. You have to just be really open to all sides of it.”
It seems that Curtis’ approach to motherhood has led to two happy kids. Her daughter Annie, 31, is a dance teacher who has a BFA in Dance from Kenyon College:

As for Tom, the 22-year-old has introduced his mom to the wonderful world of gaming, and she’s a great sport about it — going so far as to cosplay with him at the “Warcraft” premiere in 2016.
“We’re serious about our games,” she said. “The astonishing thing about being a parent is that your children bring things to you that you would never, ever, ever, ever know. And you hope that you bring a few things to them that are interesting.”
Something tells us that Curtis’s children definitely find their wildly talented and famous mama pretty interesting indeed!
