Jason Aldean and Wife, Brittany, Welcome a Baby Girl

Country music star Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, welcomed their second child and first daughter together on Feb. 4.

Navy Rome was born Feb. 4, weighing in at 7 pounds and 12 ounces and “looking identical to her older brother,” according to proud dad, Jason, who announced her birth on Instagram.

“Today our family became complete as we welcomed our daughter Navy Rome to the world,” he said, captioning a closeup of his sleeping baby girl’s face. “So excited to watch what life has in store for this little princess.”

Brittany (Kerr) Aldean posted the same photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “We welcomed our daughter Navy Rome into the world today at 12:45pm✨ 7lbs 12oz of pure preciousness💕 We love you so much baby girl!!”

Jason and Brittany also have a 14-month-old son, Memphis. And Jason has two daughters from his first marriage, almost-16-year-old Keeley and 11-year-old Kendyl. You can see the blended family together in this photo that Jason posted to his Instagram account at Thanksgiving.

While Navy Rome and Memphis are close in age, the Aldeans planned it that way.

“We just wanted them to be close in age, and we figured we’re already in that mindset now, so why not?” Jason told People.

Brittany struggled to conceive due to endometriosis before getting pregnant with Memphis via in vitro fertilization. Navy Rome was also an IVF baby.

“The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy, for me, because it was just such a roller coaster and so difficult,” Brittany revealed about her journey to pregnancy with Memphis during an episode of the podcast Babes and Babies.

The Aldeans announced they were expecting their daughter in a fun way. Jason’s two oldest daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, swung at baseballs that exploded with pink powder when they were hit open.

Both girls predicted they’d be getting a baby sister, and they were right!
