Jason Aldean And Wife Brittany Welcome First Child

Congratulations are in order! Country star Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr Aldean welcomed their first child together on Dec. 1, People.com reported.

This baby boy is Tennessee through-and-through: He was born in Nashville and is named Memphis. Very apropos for a baby with country roots!

“So blessed to see my little man come into the world. In a year that has been a rollercoaster ride, this is what it’s all about. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for this kid. Memphis Aldean…9lb 5 oz. #mamwasarockstar,” the musician captioned the sweet photo.

Memphis is Kerr Aldean’s first child, while the country star has two daughters from his previous marriage: 10-year-old Kendyl and 14-year-old Keeley.

Back in June, Aldean hinted that the new baby would have a special name. “East, West, North, South — none of that stuff. It will be something really cool,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Both of us have names that are pretty common, Jason and Brittany, so something that’s unique is our main goal.”

We’d say they accomplished that!

What a cute couple! The pair have been married since 2015, when they wed at beachfront ceremony in Mexico.

Ahead of their nuptials, Kerr Aldean revealed that the couple definitely planned on having kids together. “I don’t know how many, but definitely one,” she told Us Weekly. “We definitely want a boy, though. We’re crossing our fingers for one. He wants a little hunter, and I want a little athlete, so we’ll just have to find a happy medium.”

It sounds like they got their wish! Congrats to the happy family!
