JCPenney Is Giving Away Coupons Worth Up To $500 On Thanksgiving Day

Here's how you can get one!

While it’s true that Black Friday pretty much doesn’t wait for Friday anymore, if you do choose to shop on Thanksgiving day, most of it can be done online while you’re digesting your turkey and stuffing. If that’s your plan this year, too, however, JCPenney is having a deal that may make you rethink sitting on your couch.

If you head to your local JCPenney store on Thanksgiving, not only will you find some pretty great deals, but the store will also be giving out coupons good for $500 off a $500 purchase, $100 off a $100 purchase and/or $10 off $10 purchase. That’s right — you’ll get either $10, $100 or $500 worth of merchandise for free!

Doors don’t open until 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, so you’ll have plenty of time to eat and won’t have to wait outside in the early morning hours, but you’ll probably want to get there pretty early for the best chance of getting a coupon, as they are limited to one per person and only available while supplies last.

It looks like there will be at least 101 coupons — 99 of them being for $10. One coupon will be for $100 and each store will have at least one $500 coupon. The coupons work on select items in apparel, shoes, accessories, fine jewelry and home. The $10 off $10 coupons will be valid in-store only through Nov. 23 and the $100 and $500 coupons will be valid for purchases made through Dec. 24.

As with many coupons, there are a bunch of exclusions and products to which this coupon can’t be applied — so make sure you read the fine print.

Will you be heading to your local JCPenney on Thanksgiving for your chance to score $10, $100 or $500?
