Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are starting a podcast where they will break down every episode of ‘The Office’

If you’re a fan of “The Office” who can’t get enough of binge-watching your favorite series on Netflix, we have exciting news for you! Two former cast members from the beloved TV show are getting together for a brand new podcast! Jenna Fischer, who played Pam Beesly, and Angela Kinsey, who played Angela Martin, will get behind the mic for a weekly podcast called “Office Ladies.”

Set to premiere on Oct. 16., “Office Ladies” gives Fischer and Kinsey a chance to offer their thoughts on each episode of “The Office.” Of course, they’ll also share exclusive, behind-the-scenes stories about the show.

The two co-stars of “The Office” became best friends while filming the series, which ran for nine seasons on NBC from 2005 to 2013. While it may be hard to imagine Pam and Angela being BFFs, the “Office Ladies” podcast gives the real life actors a chance to let their hair down and show their personal connection.

“I’m excited to be working with my best friend Angela Kinsey,” said Fischer in a press release. “So many memories are flooding in as we go back and watch the episodes – many of which I haven’t seen since they aired. As we close in on the 15th anniversary of the show, it seemed like a great time to share our stories and behind-the-scenes trivia with fans. Besides talking about ‘The Office,’ you can also hear us chat a little about our lives, our Target runs together, our friendship through the years. It’s a lot of fun.”

Fischer shared her excitement about the project on her Instagram account on Sept. 11.

“Each week will will watch an episode of ‘The Office’ and tell you all the behind-the-scenes scoop and trivia,” she posted. “The kind of stuff only two people who were there can now. There might be some tangents about our lives, our friendship, our cats and our Target runs.”

They both have cats? Angela Martin, “The Office” cat lady, would be thrilled (if she could ever really show excitement.)

But Kinsey had no hesitation in sharing her enthusiasm for working with her former castmate.

“Aaaaah!! I get to work with my bff again!” Kinsey shared on Instagram. “Our show, ‘Office Ladies,’ combines two of my favorite things ‘The Office’ and getting to hang out with my real-life bff!”

Fans can find the “Office Ladies” podcast beginning on Oct. 15 on a variety of platforms including Stitcher (owned by Simplemost’s parent company E.W. Scripps,) Apple, Spotify and anywhere podcasts are available.
