Jennifer Garner decorated her chicken coop for the holidays—and it’s really cute

Jennifer Garner describes herself as a proud “chicken lady,” and apparently being a chicken lady includes making sure your feathered friends don’t feel left out of the festive decorating fun during the holiday season.

The actress recently shared a photo of her backyard chicken coop on Instagram — and its holiday lights game is fierce.

“My ladies wanted me to relay: their halls are bedecked,” Garner captioned the photograph, adding the hashtags #hohoho and #cluckcluckcluck as well as the grandma and chicken emojis. In addition to the multicolored lights, the coop is decorated with two signs, one that reads, “The Lair, Est. 2017,” while the other says, “Fresh Eggs.”

Garner, who shares daughters Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 10, and son Samuel, 7, with ex-husband Ben Affleck, has expressed her love for her chickens on Instagram before.

In April 2018, she posted a touching video tribute when her chicken Regina George — who was named after Rachel McAdams’ “Mean Girls” character and liked to walk on a leash — died of natural causes.

A month later, Garner introduced her followers to a new chick in the coop: Hennifer, whose name was chosen by Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. (Rejected names included Ruth Bader Ginsbird, Mark Fluffalo, Oprah Henfrey and Ellen DeHeneres.)

Garner is clearly a devoted chicken mom — she even made her birds a “bug cake” for their birthday.

But it’s not only the Garner chickens whose abode has been given a Christmas makeover. The “Miracles From Heaven” star revealed last week that she had accidentally ordered an enormous tree for the family home.

“So I told my kids we could go bigger because we’re in a rental house and it has a really big foyer,” she said in the video clip, posted to Instagram. “But then it was delivered and I’m not sure this was the tree we picked out. It’s a little aggressive!”

There’s no doubt about it: Garner is embracing the holiday season. We’re looking forward to seeing what treats Hennifer and the others enjoy on Christmas Day. They’re going to be spoiled, right?
