Jennifer Garner got her Hollywood Star with her 3 kids by her side—And the photos are so sweet
From “Alias” to “Miracles from Heaven,” Jennifer Garner has had an illustrious acting career, one that has so far spanned nearly two decades and included numerous nominations and awards for her work in television and film.
That’s why on Monday, Aug. 20, the seasoned actor was given her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in honor of her contributions to the industry.
And Garner didn’t attend the event alone: The 46-year-old star had her whole family by her side, including her children, and the photos are just the sweetest.
The ceremony was filled with sweet moments between Garner and her three kids, 6-year-old Samuel, 9-year-old Seraphina and 12-year-old Violet, whom she had with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
But it’s not surprising to see so much love and support for this dedicated mom — after all, the “13 Going On 30” actor once spent a weekend selling Girl Scout cookies in a parking lot for her daughters.
The “Dallas Buyers Club” actor paid tribute to her children during her speech on Monday, saying, “For my children, when you walk over this star, I want you to remember first of all that I love you and that this is about hard work and good luck and not a whole lot else.”
“You define me, not this wonderful spot on the pavement. Also, for the record, don’t spend too much time on Hollywood Boulevard,” she added, according to Today.
Garner, who stars in the upcoming action flick, “Peppermint,” was also surrounded by her parents, Patricia and William, as well as her siblings, nieces and nephews during Monday’s event.
It was a true family affair!
The mom of three has always spoken candidly about her bond with her family. In a recent interview with Southern Living, Garner opened up about growing up in West Virginia and the values she wants to pass down to her children, who share a home with a pet chicken named Regina George — yes, named after Rachel McAdams’ character in “Mean Girls.”
“I want them to know that my mother was happy and free on the farm,” she told Southern Living. “I want them to know that you don’t need things to keep you occupied.”
Congratulations on the well-deserved honor!
