Jennifer Lawrence Posts Hilarious Video About Ditching Golden Globe After-Parties For Emma Stone

Jennifer Lawrence did not attend the Golden Globes on Jan. 7, but she was still down to attend some after-parties with her BFF, Emma Stone. Naturally, Lawrence called in her professional hair and makeup team to get gussied up for a big night out in Hollywood.

However, her plans were foiled when halfway through the preparations, Stone called and informed her friend that instead of spending a night out at parties, she’d rather just hang out at Lawrence’s house.

Lawrence was fine with the change in plans, but there was one small problem. Since she had already started in on her “glam,” as she put it, she was left with exactly half of a face full of makeup. Check out the hilarious result in the video:

You can hear Stone ask Lawrence, “Hi, what happened tonight?”

Lawrence responded, “Well, you had told me that you wanted me to be your date to the after-parties. So I had got us some tickets to some after-parties. I picked up a car. I was halfway through glam when you told me that you didn’t want to go.” Then Lawrence turned to face the camera, revealing her half-done up face, including a dramatic smoky eye.

Through laughter, she continued, “You just wanted to come over to my house, so I sent my hair and makeup team home, and now this is what I look like.” Stone can be heard cracking up at her friend’s predicament as well.

Ahh, celeb BFFs — they’re just like us! Well, we don’t all go to fabulous award show after-parties, nor do we have professional hair and makeup teams at our disposal, but we can all relate to having a good laugh at our own expense with our best friend! Lawrence’s fans thought the video was pretty hilarious and sweet, and it has now been viewed more than one million times.
