Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Jennifer Lawrence is officially engaged to boyfriend Cooke Maroney.

Maroney and Lawrence have been spotted canoodling for months now, primarily in New York, the city both call home. People reported that the relationship began in early May, and sources told the magazine that Lawrence has never seemed so happy or comfortable with a boyfriend before.

An anonymous source told Page Six they’d seen Lawrence wearing a “giant rock,” and now, Lawrence’s representative has confirmed that the two are engaged, though no other details were forthcoming.

So, who is Lawrence’s new fiancé?

Maroney doesn’t work in Hollywood. But as an art purveyor with many wealthy and famous clients, including Lena Dunham’s father, he has plenty of ties to celebrities. Maroney is the art director at Gladstone 64, “a leading contemporary art gallery with locations in New York and Brussels,” according to their website.

Page Six reported that the two met through a mutual friend.

In the past, Lawrence has spoken of her desire to find her soul mate and tie the knot.

“I can’t wait to be married,” she told Vogue in 2015. “I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children,” that she wouldn’t mess up the relationship.

While details about the upcoming nuptials are still unknown, we can be certain that Lawrence will have plenty of famous bridesmaids. She’s best buds with Amy Schumer and Emma Stone.

However, maybe Lawrence will opt not to have bridesmaids at all, as she has hilariously spoken out against the tradition in the past.

“Weddings rock, but I will never be a bridesmaid again,” she told Vanity Fair. “There needs to be a bridesmaids’ union. It’s horrendous. If anyone asks me again, I’m going to say, ‘No. That part of my life is over. I appreciate the ask.’ If I do ever get married, I don’t think I will have bridesmaids. How can I rank my friends?”

Well, now she has the chance to decide if she will have a bridal party or not, along with a million other wedding decisions!
