Jennifer Lopez and Jimmy Fallon went through the entire history of music video dancing in 4 minutes—and it’s amazing

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon and superstar Jennifer Lopez took us on a dance down memory lane on a recent episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.” In a segment called “The History of Music Video Dancing,” they took to the stage in matching outfits and boogied their way through what felt like our entire lives.

The transitions between songs were quick but, with each snippet of popular music from the past 30 or so years, they captured the essence of those music videos we’ve all watched and enjoyed.

They mimicked TLC dancing their way through “Waterfalls.” They glided back and forth to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This.” They brought out their inner Paula Abdul during “Straight Up.” Moves from songs like The Bangles’ “Walk Like an Egyptian,” Britney Spears’ “Bye Bye Bye” and Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” were immediately recognizable. They even threw in the “Macarena” for some wedding reception realness. Check out the video below:

Though Lopez looks to be in the best shape of her life — did you see those abs?! — Fallon managed to keep up with her, though he comically struggled during OK Go’s “Here It Goes Again” as they ran on treadmills.

The video epically ended with Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” during which a group of dancers (plus a good amount of confetti) joined the duo on stage. What a finale!

This isn’t the only time the pair have danced together on “The Tonight Show” stage. In 2017, they had a dance battle that’s been viewed more than 22 million times on YouTube:

And in 2014, they danced together after talking about a miscommunication over a dance at an event they both attended. Watch them in this YouTube video:

Has J-Lo ever not looked amazing? She really dazzles.

The singer/actress is on the silver screen now in the film “Hustlers” with co-star Constance Wu. The movie is about a group of exotic dancers in New York who seek out lives of luxury by earning their dollars from men on Wall Street.

“Hustlers” is in theaters now.
