Jennifer Lopez wrote her future stepdaughter the sweetest message for her 15th birthday

Engaged couple Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have a long history of caring for each other’s children and making an effort to integrate their families, so it’s no surprise that Lopez has a strong bond with her fiance’s daughter Natasha, who goes by Tashi. When it came time to give her a shoutout for her 15th birthday on Nov. 18, Lopez took the opportunity to show the teen how much she cares by posting a heartfelt message on social media.

“Wishing my favorite teenager a very happy 15th birthday!!!” she wrote in the Instagram caption of a photo of the two of them embracing. “May you forever keep illuminating the people around you with your infections light. I love you and hope you have the best day. #Tashi”:

How sweet!

The feeling is clearly mutual because in an interview with Hoda Kotb on NBC’s “Today,” Lopez revealed that Natasha had written her an emotional note as well.

“I got the most beautiful card from Alex’s daughter, Tashi,” Lopez told the host. “And she told me it’s an honor to be your stepdaughter. Again, I start crying. I just feel so blessed to have all of the dynamics that are going on in my life right now. You know, and first starting with, you know, creating a family that I’ve always wanted.”

Together, Lopez and Rodriguez share four children. In addition to Natasha, Rodriguez is dad to 11-year-old Ella. He shares both daughters with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. Lopez shares 11-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex Marc Anthony. Rodriguez has also been vocal about the special relationships they all share as a modern, blended family.

“Our kids have become best friends and that keeps us both grounded and appreciative,” the former baseball pro told People in 2018. “We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.”
