Jennifer Lopez Looks Amazing Celebrating Her 49th Birthday On The Beach

Jennifer Lopez may have turned her 49 years old this week, but the Bronx-born artist doesn’t look like a day older than when she burst onto the music scene 20 years ago.

Lopez enjoyed a fun-filled birthday beach bash on Tuesday, celebrating with her boyfriend, former baseball pro Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, their blended family and some of their close friends. And by the looks of the photos the “Shades of Blue” star shared on social media, there was lots of sun, sand and champagne to be had.

But there’s one shot Lopez posted to Instagram that has everyone stunned. Just check out the photo below and tell us you’re not amazed.

In the photo, the “Jenny from the Block” singer is sporting a small black bikini and holding up a bottle of champagne. Lopez is surrounded by her family and friends, with Rodriguez and her 10-year-old daughter, Emme, from her previous marriage to singer Marc Anthony, by her side. She captioned the Instagram post, “Current birthday situation… yup.”

What’s more: Lopez is also showing off her sculpted abs, which has seriously impressed her fans everywhere. And there’s no doubt that rock-hard stomach is thanks to her mostly organic, nutrient-rich diet and daily workout routine.

Of course, Lopez has always looked amazing. But what makes this Instagram photo especially jaw-dropping is that the singer, actor and entrepreneur is redefining what aging means.

Sure, compare Tuesday’s Instagram post to early photos of Lopez and it’s like the singer hasn’t aged a day. But that’s because the “Maid in Manhattan” star is getting older on her own terms.

She told US Weekly in 2015, “I see pictures of myself in my twenties and go, ‘Oh, I look better now!’ I embrace who I am. I feel sexy, I feel youthful, I feel pretty sometimes!”
