Jennifer Lopez hasn’t let performing 15 shows in 27 days wear her down! In fact, it’s apparently had just the opposite effect. The singer posted a photo showing off her biceps now that she’s nearing the end of her Las Vegas residency, and she couldn’t have looked more fierce.
“Feeling like superwoman after the show tonight,” she captioned the photo. “When I started this run I thought omg 15 shows in 27 days that’s a lot… but I made a promise to myself that instead of letting it wear me down I would be even stronger at the end of it.”
And the photo served as proof that she kept her promise:

The 49-year-old powerhouse admits that there were struggles and times when she had to force a quick workout in, but her hard work paid off and has left her feeling “strong, happy and grateful” in the end.
“There were moments I was tired and there was travel and I had to fit in my workouts where I could… but here we are with only 3 shows left!! And I am having so many emotions but mostly just feeling strong, happy and grateful,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also added “#makepromisestoyourselfandkeepthem” encouraging others to set goals and meet them.
Of course, Lopez realizes that she couldn’t have accomplished her goals without support from her crew, her family and her partner, Alex Rodriguez.
She credited Rodriguez for making her realize “the sky is not the limit” after winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards:
“My life is sweeter and better with you in it because you make me realize every day the sky is not the limit,” she said. “The universe is infinite and so is what we can accomplish together with love, trust and understanding. There is so much more to do, to experience, and there’s no one I’d rather do it with, baby.”
So, it’s no surprise that A. Rod has been by her side, documenting her pre-show rituals and more. He shared this funny video that shows how J. Lo gets ready for every performance:

The fact that she’s been able to come out of 27 days of non-stop performing feeling better than before proves that when you’re doing what you love and you’re surrounded by those who lift you up, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish.
And performing is definitely something Lopez loves to do. In fact, dancing is like a form of therapy to her.
“When my confidence is lagging, I dance,” she told Hello Magazine in 2016. “There’s something about seeing what my body is capable of and feeling the endorphin rush that comes with a good dance session that really helps boost my confidence and my mood.”
Lopez’s residency in Sin City will wrap up on Sept. 29.
These Las Vegas shows have shown her she’s capable of so much, and we can’t wait to see what’s next from J. Lo, aka Superwoman!
